OpenStation · Invite-only beta
Broadcasting rules
The beta welcomes voice and music for which creators hold the necessary broadcasting rights.
Version of 3 October 2026
Before going live
- Broadcast your own voice and original content, or content for which you have permission covering this public broadcast.
- For music, check the rights to both the composition and the recording, along with any permissions from other relevant rights holders.
- A music subscription, buying a track or crediting its author does not grant permission to broadcast it publicly.
- Get permission from people taking part or whose voices you broadcast. Do not disclose their private information.
If you are unsure about your rights, keep the content off air and contact MEUGS.
Respect for others
Illegal content, threats, harassment, incitement to hatred or violence, sexual exploitation, impersonation and sharing private information without permission are prohibited. Fake statistics, spam and attempts to bypass the service's protections are also prohibited.
Public listening and the beta
Anyone with access to the site can listen to a live station. Do not broadcast anything you want to keep private. Automatic live recording is disabled on OpenStation; this does not prevent listeners from making their own recordings.
Uploaded audio files are kept while broadcasting in a loop and deleted when that broadcast stops. The service is in beta: interruptions and changes are possible.
Reporting and moderation
You can report content without an account. Reports are reviewed by the administration team. Depending on the situation, a broadcast may be stopped, content removed or an account suspended.
To ask for an explanation, appeal a decision or provide more information, email meutey.sandap@gmail.com with your station and the decision concerned. A person will review your request.
